Jackie Barbosa knew she wanted to be a writer by the time she was seven years old. After detours in academia—she holds a Master's degree in Classics from the University of Chicago—and the software industry, she is at last achieving her true life-long dream of writing romantic fiction. Jackie lives in Southern California with her husband of almost twenty years, their three children, three cats, and two rats (which are actually pretty nice once you get to know them. When she's not writing (and sometimes when she is), she's usually surfing the Internet and reading everything she can get her hands on.
