This story deals with three women: Ellen, Charlotte and Candice. Each had been unlucky in love and they hoped that by talking and using the tarot cards, mainly focusing on the Wheel of Fate card, that they would find the love they were looking for. A mysterious entity led each woman to her dream so she could channel positive energies to make her desires and fantasies become realities. The story follows each of these women as they attempted astral projection to change their luck in love and to fulfill their desires.
Ellen dreamed of being with a man named Tom, Charlotte dreamed of being with Alan, and Candice dreamed about Charlotte. The main conflict was within Candice. She knew Charlotte cared for Alan and wasn't sure if she liked women or if it would be right to pursue her friend, even though through projection they had a wonderful lesbian encounter.
In the end each woman decided to pursue her dream except Candice. She saw that the mysterious figure was testing her, and she decided that her friend's happiness and desires came above hers. Candice wanted Charlotte to be happy even if that meant not pursuing her own fantasies, despite how real and good it all seemed.
I found this story interesting as Master Nage wrote as a woman. I liked that he was able to discuss and address female love issues and concerns. He was convincing and able to pull it off successfully. He really seemed to understand the female side of things and I liked that. This story dealt with fantasy-paranormal interests. He described the Wheel of Fate and how it worked, making it easy for those readers unfamiliar with tarot cards and astral projection to follow and understand. The sexual implicitness and scenes were tastefully done. I would love to have the power to see into and know about my future relationships, especially regarding the total fulfillment of my desires and if the person I'm thinking about is right for me or not.
I really liked reading this book. It was a nice smooth read. It held my interest and I was able to complete it in about forty minutes. I would recommend this book to others. In reading his profile, I originally thought this book was going to be about D/s but found that wasn't the case. I would recommend reading this book and am looking forward to reading more from Master Nage.
