Review:

Doctor Cynthia Kayabaker runs herself out front as an expert in, if all else fails, gathering data for an expose. What makes this piece interesting is that she succeeds. I liked it. The Definitive Guide to Sexual Encounters is a compendium of hot vignettes that twist the reader around a little, and then picks them up and shakes them out with the ‘summary’ at the end of each experience. From an in-depth ‘tale’ inspired by Erica Jong’s “Zipless Sex” to a first romp, his and hers, and then on to a myriad of sexual encounters at their most colorful, Kayabaker takes the reader on a roller coaster of eroticism. It is all about a sexual exchange, any, and all, of which don a different cloak and minister to a different nature.

As the couples, or single confessors, wandered through Dr. Cynthia’s ‘laboratory’ foyer, they left no stones unturned in their carnal explorations. What does she say? “I just like entrepreneurial men, especially a real cutie like Carlos. He found a way to pump up business and pump up that hot Russian lady at the same time.” This statement gives you an idea of the ‘heft’ you will find lingering within the perimeters of this Definitive Guide. Throughout the commentaries, at the end of each chapter, Dr. Cynthia manages to speak honestly, and frankly about her observations, doing so in a language that most understand.

Kayabaker is eager to offer a psychological engraved invitation to anyone curious enough to experience oneself, and/or others, without guilt. That is her MO, but as a reviewer, I can merely suppose as I remove myself from the “pudding” and play voyeur. The Definitive Guide to Sexual Encounters is fun, clear, and occasionally, stylishly raunchy. Whether you like the idea of JUNGLE SEX, SPIRITUAL SEX, NEW YEARS EVE SEX, or any other kind of sex, the theme dominates the moment, and I highly recommend the exploration.
