Liddy Midnight has added a new chapter to her Elementals series with Elementals: Fire and Ice. In the first book of the series, Small Magicks, we met the air elementals. In Fire and Ice she moves from air to fire. Whether she writes as Liddy or as Annalise {Fantasy Shoppe: Venus Rising} you can expect some hot sexy stories.

Trina has grown up as the slave of the sorceress Kalidah. She has no memory of her life before Kalidah, but Trina feels that her family is out there waiting for her no matter what Kalidah says. Trina has been trying to learn more magick in secret than Kalidah is willing to teach her. One night huddled by the fire, Trina notices something: tiny beings dancing among the flames. Before she knows what is happening, she is drawn into their world and finds acceptance. As she joins them, there is one being that attracts her like no other.

When Kalidah's plans for Trina go wrong, the fire being takes human form to save her. He returns to his realm after covering Trina's escape but when she is in danger a second time the link between them is too strong for him to resist. With Trina's help, Brand chooses to explore the wonders of his new human form.

Trina sets out to find her lost family and safety from all those who would use her against her will. Along the journey she finds freedom, love, and family--all the things she has dreamed of.

This is a story of the exploration and discovery of love and family, with some hot sex to spice it up. Fire and Ice, along with the previous Elementals book Small Magick, is on my keeper list and Liddy Midnight has joined my group of auto buy authors. I am looking forward to the next Liddy Midnight/Annalise story.
