Review:

Jake Plummer had loved Roxy Diamond since they were kids really; although in high school the love had been disguised as a strong case of lust. Jake was not the marrying kind-never had been, never would be. He took a break from the financial world and while helping his dad out at home with the family plumbing business, a call came in about a leak at the Diamond house. Walking around there was definitely a trip down memory lane, especially the boathouse where Jake helped Roxy lose her virginity. It seemed the feelings he had for Roxy ten years ago were still there and just as strong as ever. So when Jake discovered that Roxy was housesitting for her parents, he wanted nothing more than to get her into bed again. He never expected her to get into his heart.

Roxy Diamond had been shy in school, never guessing that she embodied every teenage boy's fantasy. She had a body to melt over, and the best part was that she didn't realize it. Even now that she was all grown up, she was gorgeous. Roxy had worked very hard to forget all about Jake and that night at the boathouse. She had a few flings in college and a failed marriage behind her as well. But she had never gotten over the urge or truly forgotten how Jake had made her feel. It was what she had unconsciously been searching for in all the other men. Roxy wanted to feel loved as well as desired. She wanted someone to put her first. She just didn't expect that man to be Jake.

Jake had a lot of convincing to do to get Roxy into bed. And when she relented, it was explosive. Neither of them had ever experienced anything like it. So it really came as no surprise to wake up one morning and discover that they had fallen completely and totally in love. Now, how to let each other know before it was too late and before they walked out of each other's lives again-possibly for good this time.

The Plumber's Helper is another sizzler from Blaise Kilgallen! She has once again proven why she can hook a reader with the first chapter alone! In Jake Plummer, Ms. Kilgallen has created another must-have fantasy lover. He is sexy, smart and playful and as a bonus is handy to have around the house! Roxy is another wonderful example of how a woman can be both sexy and innocent at the same time.

The Plumber's Helper was incredible! I was looking forward to reading it based on Ms. Kilgallen's other stories, and I was not disappointed! It's not surprising that she is an author worth sharing! I look forward to more steamy and exhilarating novels from her in the future!
