Kiely Davlin, heroine of GHOST OF A CHANCE, was summoned to Texas by her best friend. She was to choreograph a show called Bad Business on the Brazos. Her friend had several motives for wanting her there, not the least of which was Rafe Montez who played the villain, Nick Nefarious.
What Kiely eventually found out was that the villain in the production of this musical fifty years ago was killed onstage and his ghost still lurked in the East Ellum Theatre. Kiely saw the ghost and wondered why he was still around. Then a murder happened and Kiely, along with Rafe, was involved in solving a mystery--with lots of laughs and showtunes thrown into the mix.
More than once in the course of reading this book I found myself humming songs from the shows I had been in during high school. Humor and great characters make GHOST OF A CHANCE a thoroughly enjoyable read. I'd recommend the book even if you don't have any thespian blood in you. I can't wait to see what else Flo Fitzpatrick will bring our way.
