Review:

DARK DESTINY by Christine Feehan introduces us to a female vampire named Destiny. She was a hunter of vampires, the dark kind that kill other people when they feed. Since she was converted as a child she had heard a voice in her head: a siren song she dared not answer.

The voice belonged to Nicolae, a Carpathian which was a race of vampire-like creatures that hunt vampires. The dark vampires formed an alliance and were intent upon taking over the world. Destiny and Nicolae stood between the bad guys and the innocent mortals.

As events unfolded, Destiny learned to trust Nicolae who insisted that she was his life mate--the one who would ensure he did not turn into a dark vampire. The problem was that she had been infected by a dark vampire, so she refused to let Nicolae take her blood which would finish off the joining ceremony.

The author conveyed well that the story took place at night. I had the urge to turn on lights even during the daytime. There was no mistaking the passion between the two main characters. This book is for vampire lovers and is another in a great series from Christine Feehan.
