Silkie Trevor never thought she'd do anything as strange as she did for this assignment. Inspecting male penises for a special birthmark was a bit more than she'd call "in the line of duty." No, this was more-well, just more. For Julian St. John, however, this was his life. His was the life of luxury to some and a prison to others. He was the boss in all things except his passion when it came to Silkie. Silkie came to the Mistral City on a case where Julian was there for life. The meeting was inevitable as was the instant lust. They both felt the magnetic pull, the force, the ache inside that only the other could fill and fix. Silkie wasn't there for sex, however, and Julian had been celibate for a good, long time.

Nothing was as easy as it seemed. On the outside everything was perfect, but on the inside someone was always after Julian. Someone would always want him dead. Silkie just happened to get caught in the middle. Was it just lust or was it mind-blowing love? Could Julian and Silkie conquer all the things in their path, and would Silkie ever find the answer to solve her case?

Passion's Mistral could be a new flavor all on its own. Ice cream, "suckers," candy and whatever else-you name it and it could be. Silkie is hot-like the steaming sex she and Julian share. Julian is masculine and dominate, yet so gentle and deeply into Silkie. They both produce a lot of heat, sweat and allure, but together they are like dynamite and fireworks combined. On page, they are explosive and you can feel the heat. I couldn't praise this book enough! Oh, and the ending-it's a laugh-and-a-half! Can't wait for the next one, Dawn!
