Aisling Antwyn was a Timewalker like her mother and grandmother before her. She was a woman charged with the burden of saving the world. Aisling's assignment was to stop the "Red Death" which would wipe out mankind on Earth 8 in the year 2006. As if the task wasn't hard enough, the Shen on her chest--a birthmark that identified her as a Timewalker--was burning. That could only mean one thing: her mate was here in this time on this planet.

Luke Lawson had been haunted by dreams of his soulmate for sixteen years. He'd been told by a mysterious man in white that her life would depend on his own actions. When he and Aisling teamed up, sparks flew and their destiny was set; that is, if they could prevent the Red Death from extinguishing all life on Earth.

TIMEWALKERS 1: AISLING is a fantastic book. FANTASTIC! It's fun and exciting, a non-stop thrill ride that comes to a very satisfying conclusion. I did not want the story to end and when it did, I couldn't wait to read more. I sincerely hope that this series will continue sooner rather than later.

Aisling and Luke are great characters and they shine together. Aisling is a strong heroine; she has guts and is committed to her mission and determined to save Earth 8. I admired her tenacity and spunk. Luke, too, would not be deterred from his cause. Once he had Aisling in his life, he would do anything to keep her protected, even at the risk of her ire. Not to mention, he was damn sexy!

Ms. Chambers's TIMEWALKERS 1: AISLING is superb. Filled with tense action, extraordinary characters, and a fresh and interesting plot, TIMEWALKERS 1: AISLING delivers an unforgettable reading experience. This is an auspicious debut for Ms. Chambers and I anxiously await more from this very talented author.
