I'll take a BLOOD LITE to stay. Stay on my keeper shelf that is. Readers, Dakota Cassidy has done it again!

Leah was 420 years old, 5'4" and 186 lbs of full figured vampire. This scenario alone made me want to pick up BLOOD LITE. Leah needed to get this weight off--and now--but she needed help; she just couldn't put down the fried foods.

Enter Erick, personal trainer, aka soon-to-be-Leah's-lover, if she had anything to do with it. Erik was a human, and this dalliance was a no-no for Leah , especially since her father abhorred humans with as much passion as he liked blood.

BLOOD LITE is an Ellora's Cave quickie, but gives us a full read that is uproariously funny. Dakota Cassidy has an excellent sense of humor and I've been hooked on her books since I read IT'S A VAMPIRE THING. When I read BLOOD LITE , I thought Dakota must have read my mind, because Leah's sense of irony is exactly like mine. Dakota is well known for bringing a wicked sense of humor combined with a very steamy read to us readers. Leah's thoughts regarding being overweight are very realistic and a testament to Dakota's sense of honesty in her writing. I almost fell out of my chair laughing at Erik's reaction when Leah tells him her "secret." Dakota continues her winning streak with BLOOD LITE. I bow before the Queen of Erotic Romance (as I've taken the liberty of dubbing her) and am awaiting her next humorous strong read with a twist.
