For a light, fast-paced, sexually driven plot, Sin's Touch is an accommodating read. The author Rachel Carrington has produced a predictable paranormal romp that less-demanding fans of the genre will find fun.
Madison Harper, attorney, has lost her father--circumstances unknown--but has little doubt as to who is responsible, as she herself is slowly dieing of unknown causes--perhaps by poison. Fortuitously, she is guided to the sexy, fanged, Gray Devereaux for healing. Can she be cured--and will the end justify the means? How important and demanding will her relationship with the sexy Devereaux become as she is forced to face certain truths about herself and her father's disappearance?
Though Ms. Carrington's plot is thin and her characters requesting depth, Sin's Touch leaves an open door at the end for future tales with at least one of her characters. The motif beneath this story is interesting and has great potential; perhaps Ms. Carrington will take a bit more time with it in her next volume.
