Dream On is Jaci Burton's new paranormal erotic romance. She is well known for her Paradise series about a tropical resort, and the Devlin Dynasty series about a family of werewolves. Dream On is a little different from the other books I have read of hers, but definitely just as great.

For the last five years, Kate has been in a prison built upon her feelings of anger and betrayal. She vows to forget her husband, Jack, and their twenty-five years of marriage and move on with her life. She dreams of him: his looks, his smile, and his touch. She dreams of the promises he made and failed to keep. With these dreams of Jack, her body responds as if he is still with her. However, with the coming of morning, she knows that she has to let go of the past.

When Jack suddenly returns, Kate fights the attraction that she still feels for him in spite of his betrayal. Determined to win her trust again, and to make up for his mistakes, Jack reignites their passion for each other. Jack realizes what he lost and missed when he left her. Kate is the love of his life. He is willing to wait as long as it takes to be reunited with his forever love.

Jaci Burton has a winner here with Dream On, a sweet love story about true love and forgiveness. I so felt for Kate's pain and her struggle to move on with her life. Jack's remorse for his failures and wanting to make amends for those failures touched my heart. This is a quick read with a fast pace, which is good because once you start you don't want to put it down.
