Beauty comes in many forms. The perfect illustration of the perfect man in the perfect setting is pure fantasy. A lovely lady in silks and flowers can touch the heart. Evil in its purest form captured for the world to marvel at. All of the above are included in the illustrated masterpiece, Passion's Blood by Cherif Fortin and Lynn Sanders.
The story is age-old. Lady Leanna is destined to marry Prince Emric, whether she likes it or not. She likes the idea so well that she has already surrendered her virtue to him but is still undecided how she feels about being force into the union.
Prince Emric loves the Lady Leanna, and will do anything to avenge her father when reports arrive that Lord Gareth has suffered a mortal attack by the Highland warriors. Emric is sent by his father to help crush the uprising of the heathens.
Prince Bran is the elder of the brothers. He would like nothing better than to claim Lady Leanna for himself. He is a cruel man who will see that he gets what he wants, no matter who must fall if they get in his way.
Passion's Blood is a quick read, a story that moves rapidly from one scene to the next. The outcome holds an interesting twist. What truly sets this book apart are the illustrations. The visual accounts throughout the story are exceptional, and the male model used to depict Prince Emric is nothing short of molten lust. The illustrations make this book worth the purchase. The story is secondary to the visual treat.
