Review:

Did you ever want to have a big brother who would take care of everything, no matter what the cost? Did you ever find that big brother? Did you fall in love with him, and worship him…though he never knew? Dusty Zamora did all of those things, all before she was eighteen and wanted for murder. Yes, Dusty Rose by Lauren N. Sharman, the latest and greatest of the McCassey Brothers' series is now available and starts out with five blasts from a .357 Magnum.

Dusty and her three sisters run for their lives after killing the man who killed their youngest sister. It was self-defense but the local law won't see it that way. Better to just hightail it for parts unknown. It happened just as Dusty was realizing her dream. Just when she was, for the first time the night before, in the arms of the only man she'd ever love, Judd McCassey.

When her mother's ex-boyfriend, bent on revenge, killed Jessie, the youngest of the Zamora sisters, the oldest made short work of him with her handgun. When the four sisters go on the run, there is only one person to help them: Blackie McCassey. Blackie hustled the girls out of town and safely placed them with the Renegades, Blackie’s outlaw biker group.

Ten years later, Dusty comes riding back into town alone on a stolen bike with a wad of money to pay off Blackie and a story including a lot of secrets. What happened to her sisters? They were never separated before. Why now?

At the sight of her, Judd is taken back to the night before Dusty was swept from his life, and all of his love is rekindled by a hello kiss that sets him on fire. But Dusty's secrets and refusal of his help are driving him insane. How can he help her with her obvious problems if she won't confide in him? And once she does surrender a little of the truth, why won't she allow him to take care of things?

The road to romance for the McCassey brothers can be paved with pain, heartache, outlaw bikers, old secrets, and blood. Ms. Sharman has penned another fabulous adventure in Hagerstown, Maryland, that spans ten years and adds unexpected twists to the legacy. Rebel, Blackie and Judd McCassey are the kind of bad boys you'd want on your team no matter the game. Each one is hot in looks and actions. Dusty and her sisters are the perfect counterparts: strong, self-reliant, and hard loving.

Dusty Rose is supposed to be the last in this series, following No Worries and The Devil's Candy, but I'm begging Ms. Sharman to reconsider that decision. The boys do have a host of bad boy cousins too, you know!
