Review:

Did you ever have one secret perfect dream? A dream where everything you ever wanted was yours, from the perfect job to a drop-dead body sheathed in "to die for' clothes? In your dream, everything seems to be going your way, except there is something missing. Make that someone, scrumptious and delicious and totally gone on you. Janet Widgeon, the heroine of Kira Stone’s Dreams Eclipsed is more than ready to springboard her dream into fantasyland. All she needs is the man, the right man.

Janet Widgeon is the sexy owner of a blues club on the upswing. She guards her club with the same gusto as a hound dog with one pup. There isn’t anything more important to her than her club and employees, except maybe a mysterious stranger she met one night. He really shouldn’t be important to her—after all they only exchanged conversation and a few kisses, but boy what kisses they were. Now she finds herself nervously hoping, praying that he will show for their “date.” If not, it is time for Janet to slam that particular door closed.

The problem is that the door slams every time on its own, bringing Janet to the sad reality that she is simply a guinea pig to test out the yet unreleased dream-making machine, Zodiac. The problem is she’s not having the dream she wants. Oh no, she crashes and burns before the big event. That makes everyone on the team nervous, especially Dr. Archer Tate, chief brain behind Zodiac. It hurts to be rejected by the sexy doctor, especially when she never even had the chance to know him even a little more intimately. Now that he thinks she’s responsible for his failed test trial—there will be no future for the two of them.

Dreams Eclipsed is hot and fast, reeling in the reader with a steamy sex scene, only to reveal that Janet is merely dreaming. Will Janet ever find her dream man? Will Dr. Archer Tate go easy on his reluctant guinea pig? All questions readers will want to know the answers to. The book is an easy read with whiplash quick dialogue and likable secondary characters

Dreams Eclipsed is the answer to your dreams if you’re looking for something that moves, roars, sizzles, and delivers all its whispered promises. This novel is a definite fun read. Don’t miss it.
