Learning to trust after a betrayal is always a hard thing to do. It is something that many fail to achieve--never getting past that betrayal. If you can’t do that, you may miss some of the best things in life. Kate Steele’s To Trust a Wolf is all about learning to trust and finding love.
Bryn Roydan is busy rebuilding her life after her husband’s betrayal. She has moved to the small town of Whispering Springs. Bryn, with her childhood friend Claire Harrelson, has opened a bookstore. She has even started dating again; not that dating has been a real success. Logan Sutherland has decided to change that.
With everything that she has been through, Bryn has no trust to give where men are concerned. But she hadn't counted on the determined onslaught of Logan Sutherland. Her resistance fading, Bryn finally gives in to her desire, only to discover that Logan has a secret of his own: he is the alpha for the local werewolf pack. Struggling with the truth of his nature and his need for dominance, Bryn is not sure that Logan is the man for her.
Logan has known from the minute he met Bryn that she was his mate. Consumed with need to make her his, Logan boldly lays claim to Bryn in everyway possible, body, mind and soul. Bryn finds herself struggling to accept the future, overcome her own past and learn to trust the wolf.
Kate Steele’s To Trust a Wolf is sweet love story with Bryn learning to trust not only Logan but herself, and Logan learning to put Bryn’s needs before his own. It is a thoroughly enjoyable, uncomplicated read, one that you can kick back with. I’ll be looking for more books by Ms. Steele to spend my Sunday afternoon with.
