Review:

Sadie Thomas wanted to prove that she was a good reporter. No-better than good. Phenomenal. To do that, she had to get out from under the silly fluff pieces her editor had been giving her. So she took all her vacation time and went undercover as a prostie-borg. Having been raised in an ultra-conservative society, it was not an easy decision for Sadie to make. Her Overlook-Me chip had kept her from being noticed-which kept her from needing to do more than look the part of a prostie-borg-but of all the times for it to quit working, the moment chosen couldn't have been worse. It would have been bad enough to be picked by only one man. But it appeared that the two men she had to contend with intended to share her! Sadie had to decide how far she would carry her act.

Holt and Blakely were more than just police partners and best friends. Years ago they had been implanted with a tandem chip, intended to make a stronger police unit out of them. Since the chip was in the experimental stages when they got it, the unusual side effects caught everyone by surprise. In order to complete themselves, Holt and Blakely needed to find that one special woman who was able to handle not only the physical bond that would be created by joining with them both at the same time, but she needed to be able to accept, and rejoice in, the emotional bond as well. Holt had all but given up on ever finding her. Blakely, always the more optimistic of the two, still believed she was out there. When they met Sadie, Blakely knew she was the one. The one woman in a million that he and Holt could have a Life-bond with. He and Holt fell completely in love with Sadie. Now if only they could get her to stop reacting to her upbringing, and start listening to her inner self-the part of her that had already bonded with them.

Knowing it would be difficult, Holt and Blakely agreed to let Sadie join forces with them to expose an underground prostie-borg ring. Each time the three of them touched, their bond strengthened. Sadie fought it as hard as she could. She just wasn't that kind of girl. But each time one of them was in danger, the only way to fix things was if they all three were involved. When Blakely was in danger of dying, Sadie finally realized that nothing mattered as much as having these two men in her life, loving her the way only Holt and Blakely could.

Wow! TANDEM UNIT is the steamiest, most heart wrenching novel I've read in a long time! The strength of the bond between these three could be felt right off the pages! Every woman, if she's honest with herself, finds it exciting to think of being with two men at once. Sadie's being able to experience a situation where it isn't just a fantasy but a necessity adds a unique and erotic twist.

TANDEM UNIT was a great way to introduce myself to Evangeline Anderson. And I have to say I am quite determined to read more from her!
