Sleepless nights usually find me reaching for Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia and putting myself into a coma watching Cartoon Network. Last night I decided to try something different. I still didn't get much sleep, but I read an excellent book and didn't add to my hips!

Dirty Pictures from Elisa Adams is just the latest in a long line of erotic fiction. She has already made a niche for herself in paranormal erotic romance, and has finally dipped her toes into more mainstream erotica. She's made a splash!

Lily Baxter is a yoga instructor at the local wellness center, which just happens to be run by her mother, when the news comes out about her posing naked in a nationally circulated men's magazine, Seduction. Needless to say, her male relatives aren't thrilled with the idea, nor is most of the population of Tranquility (known to Lily as Monotony) New Hampshire happy about having a local woman help with the "moral decay" of society.

The shining spot in the aftermath is that Lily finally gets to talk to her gorgeous neighbor, Evan Acardi. Granted, it's when he asks for her to autograph her naked breasts in Seduction's centerfold, but it's a start.

While rated Sensuous by Ellora's Cave (their persona rating system), the sex leaves nothing to the imagination and left my screen steaming! I don't recommend this book if you plan to sleep, because it will keep you reading long into the night (and maybe well into the morning), but this is a book I will gladly come back to for seconds . . . and maybe thirds.
