When Kensington decided to start their Aphrodisia line of books for their hotter, sexier stories, everyone was talking about which authors Kensington would pick to open their new line. For me, I try never to miss a Jodi Lynn Copeland story. After experiencing Jodi’s writing through her ebooks, I was looking forward to her debut with a New York publisher only to find that she was going to be one of opening authors for Kensington. That was truly a thrill.

After Hours is a trilogy of novellas opening with "Night Moves." Jillian is known around the office as “the ice queen” but underneath that frigid exterior is the free spirit she once was waiting to escape. Brendan comes from money but he wants to be known as his own man. Add a competition for a job they both want and sparks fly. Is Brendan the man to release Jillian’s free spirit? Is Jillian the woman who will see Brendan for the man he is?

Jillian’s best friend Tawny returns for her own story in "Night Secrets". Tawny is secretly a quiet, home-loving woman at heart, not the wild woman that she presents to the world. Andrew Korben is not the computer geek that everyone at the office believes him to be but a private investigator on a case. After Hours ends with Andrew’s sister Joyce in "Night Illusions". Joyce has decided to shed her prim & proper persona for that of a wild and free woman, in search of the ultimate orgasm, something she never achieved with her ex-husband. Colin, burned from a disastrous marriage, doesn’t want a permanent relationship, but he is willing to help Joyce with her search for mind-blowing sex.

After Hours is a book of loosely interconnected stories that have one theme in common and that theme is, "be true to yourself and you just might find your heart’s desire". All three couples have facades that they hide behind and only when they start to pursue what they really want do they find the love they had been missing. If you want some simple love stories with some hot, hot sex then Jodi Lynn Copeland’s After Hours is the book for you.
