Is there really only one person we are meant to be with...one soul-mate? If we lose that one person, is it possible to find true happiness again? If you lost your true love and were given the chance to get them back, what would you sacrifice to make it happen? These are heavy questions, with life altering ramifications, which the heroine in this book must face, all while fearing for the lives of herself and those she loves.
When Tanner dies, Becca lost the love of her life forever. The only tangible proof is their son Drew, of whom Tanner never knew. Becca spends her energy taking care of her beloved child and running Maginty's, the family bar she inherited from her dad. Things should be great for her now. There is a wonderful new man in her life named Dylan, who wants a future with her and her son and Becca knows it's time to move on. After all, Tanner is dead and still loving and wanting him is pointless. But something is wrong in Becca's world, someone is watching her and sending her presents...stalking her. As the stalking danger escalates, Becca's search for help leads her to a life-changing discovery.
Becca must work through the feelings she has for the men in her life while working together to find out who is threatening her and her loved ones. She has a second chance at the love of a lifetime, but at what cost to all involved?
This is an intriguing tale filled with mystery and suspense. There is a building sense of danger that grips the reader from the start. It leads you through a myriad of emotional twists as Becca searches for her direction by trying to follow both her head and her heart. You really feel the emotional turmoil of these characters as they experience it. From Becca's longing to find a level of happiness with Dylan that she fears she may never feel again, to her struggle to come to terms with Tanner's impact in her life. Then there is the dangerous stalker; the courage to contend with that draws the players in this tale together and creates a whole different level of intensity. All in all, Now and Forever is a well-told tale. Even if you guess early on whom the stalker may be, you won't be able to let this one go until you're sure.
