Maci Walker isn't extraordinary. In fact, she would describe herself as rather ordinary, ordinary Maci. She grew up on a farm in Oregon and wrote her first novel in the sixth grade. "Needless to say, it's not the American masterpiece," she laughs. She attended college and majored in English because she loves to write-big surprise. So, now, because writers always need another source of income, she's a middle school English teacher in Hawaii who hopes she is passing on a love for the magic the English language can create.
Maci reads and writes everyday. She is currently at work raising her two young children, molding her husband into the perfect man, seeking a buyer for her first romantic novel and writing her second novel. She's published two short stories in Strong Currents I and Strong Currents II (anthologies of romantic short stories), and published poems in the Western Oregon University Anthology Northwest Passage.
Writing reviews is a joy. Having the opportunity to read many different authors and express her opinion is a treasure. Maci quipped, "What's that quotation about opinions? I probably shouldn't say it. I think it's very exciting that someone else would want to read my opinion and make a decision to pursue reading a book because of my assessment of that book. It's an honor to be allowed to share what I think." To contact Maci, email her at Maci's Mailbox or Email Interviews
